Over the years, the combination of high-quality materials such as steel, wood, and premium fabrics has become an Auping hallmark. The same applies to its minimalist design, which combines elegant horizontal lines with soft, rounded corners.
Hospital Bed No. 17
Commissioned by the Burgerziekenhuis in Amsterdam, Johannes Auping improved the first bed he designed for the St Geertruiden Gasthuis in Deventer: hospital bed no. 17. It is made of detachable wooden panels and steel. Both the wooden and steel parts can be supplied in different colors.
It is the first bed with an Auping mesh base.
Auronde
The Auronde bed is made of beech wood with aluminum details and rounded legs. Frans de la Haye wanted to design a sustainable and modern bed. Not just a functional bed, but an elegant piece of furniture for reading or watching television. It is the first bed that combines luxury and comfort. This fit perfectly into the seventies, when central heating arrived in the bedroom, transforming its function. Its vibrant colors make the Auronde a piece of furniture that transforms the bedroom into a living room.
Noble
The latest addition to the Auping family. It is a timeless and majestic bed designed by Johan van Hengel. It emanates a subtle form of luxury. It has a unique, soft vibe thanks to its elegant wooden structure. The wide headboard, which extends along the entire width of the bed and nightstands, provides a beautiful sense of comfort and security. Handcrafted from solid, sustainable oak wood specially selected from European forests.
