What is the difference between a mesh base and a slatted base?
The difference is significant in terms of ventilation and durability. A slatted base has between 28 and 42 separate slats, with limited ventilation spaces. The Auping mesh base, by contrast, has an 80% open structure, allowing for far superior ventilation and much more uniform weight distribution thanks to its 10,000 support points. Furthermore, steel is more resistant and durable than wood, hence the 35-year warranty.
Which Auping mesh base is compatible with my bed?
All Auping mesh bases are compatible with any standard-sized bed. For double beds, two individual mesh bases are placed side by side, which also allows each side to be configured with a different level of adjustment. Widths range from 70 to 140 cm and lengths from 190 to 220 cm.
How do you operate an Auping adjustable bed base?
Electric adjustable bed bases are controlled using an intuitive wireless remote. You can adjust the different sections of the bed to find the most comfortable position for resting, reading, or relaxing. On double beds, each side can be adjusted independently using its own remote, allowing each person to customize the position to their preferences. In addition, the remote lets you save up to three preset positions so you can easily recall them whenever you want.
