Warranty

At Auping, we want you to sleep wonderfully every night. That’s why every Auping product is crafted with the utmost care and, of course, thoroughly inspected before leaving our factory. Everything we do is focused on ensuring a good night’s rest. Our commitment doesn’t end the moment we deliver your Auping product. Whether it’s a complete bed or a simple pillow, our warranty applies to all Auping products purchased from one of our authorized retailers.

What does the Auping warranty cover?

Different Auping products may have different warranty terms, applicable from the date of purchase. Be sure to keep your receipt or invoice, as we’ll need it to validate your claim. The following warranty conditions apply to purchases made at one of our authorized retailers.

Beds and Bed Frames

All Auping beds and bed frames have a standard warranty period of 5 years. Upholstered products may fade over time due to, for example, light exposure. This is not covered by the Auping warranty.

Mesh Bases

Auping offers a 35-year warranty against cable and frame breakage on all Auping mesh bases and bed frames. All other parts of the mesh base, such as motors, gas springs, and electronic components, have a warranty period of 5 years.

Mattresses

The Auping One, Two, Evolve, Elysium, and Elite mattresses have a 10-year warranty. These mattresses contain no foam, are made from high-quality materials, and have a long lifespan. Therefore, they have differentiated warranty conditions:

  • Up to 5 years: full warranty
  • Between 5-6 years: 20% depreciation applies
  • Between 6-7 years: 40% depreciation applies
  • Between 7-8 years: 60% depreciation applies
  • Between 8-9 years: 80% depreciation applies
  • Between 9-10 years: 90% depreciation applies

Box Spring Mattresses and Auping Revive Mattress

The standard warranty for box spring mattresses and the Auping Revive mattress is 5 years.

Toppers

The standard warranty for toppers is 3 years.

Duvets and Pillows

We offer a full 5-year warranty on duvets and a full 2-year warranty on pillows. In case of material or manufacturing defects, we guarantee full coverage for replacement or repair.

Bedding

All duvet covers, fitted sheets, and flannel protectors have a full 1-year warranty.

Accessories

The standard warranty period for all Auping accessories, such as nightstands, ottomans, and decorative cushions, is 5 years.

Electronic Accessories

The standard warranty period for all Auping electronic accessories, such as Auping Connect and lamps, is 5 years.

Depressions and Deviations in Mattress and Topper Dimensions

All our mattresses and toppers are handmade, which means each product is unique and may have a minimal deviation in length, width, or height. To determine whether your claim for a size deviation is covered by our warranty, we use the NED-EN 1334 standard. Deviations of +1 cm (larger) or -1 cm (smaller) or less are not covered by the warranty.

An Auping mattress provides optimal support and adapts to your body’s contours over time. Because of this, depressions may form, which is a normal phenomenon. Local height reduction is acceptable up to 2 cm and is not covered by our warranty.

Always purchase your Auping product from an authorized retailer

We strongly recommend purchasing Auping products only from our authorized retailers. This way, we can guarantee the quality of your product. You can find a list of our retailers on our website. Auping does not offer warranty on products that have not been sold, delivered, or assembled by an authorized retailer (store, studio, or online). Additionally, depending on the nature of the claim, combining with non-Auping products may lead to rejection or limitation of the warranty claim.

Warranty claims can only be made by the original purchaser. Auping will need the original invoice to validate your claim, so be sure to keep it. The claim must also be made at the retailer where the product was originally purchased, even if the purchaser has moved to another country. The rights established in Auping’s warranty policy belong to the purchaser. If the purchaser is an individual and is not acting on behalf of a profession or business, the rights granted by our warranty do not affect the legal rights established by law.

Our warranty only applies to countries where Auping is officially represented. Warranty and service may be refused if Auping products are transported to countries where Auping is not officially represented.

Warranty in Case of Material or Manufacturing Defects

In case of material or manufacturing defects, the defect will be repaired in accordance with Auping’s warranty conditions. If this is not possible, another suitable solution will be offered, such as replacement with the same product or, if unavailable, an equivalent alternative. In certain cases, compensation may be offered. Auping will evaluate whether the defect will be compensated through replacement, repair, or refund.

Defects or Damage Due to Poor Maintenance

To ensure the validity of your claim, you must follow Auping’s maintenance recommendations. Additionally, the warranty only applies in case of normal domestic use.
