What is the difference between Auping's 1M, 2M, and 3M adjustable bases?
The difference is not “more motors,” but how much you can adjust the bed to find your exact position. The 1M raises the back, ideal for sitting up to read or have breakfast. The 2M adds the legs with knee flexion, providing lumbar support and preventing sliding: the best balance of price and comfort. The 3M adds head adjustment, relaxing the neck without pillows. Electric, manual, or flat adjustable base
The level of adjustability is defined by the base, not the bed. The electric adjustable base motorizes movement and stores positions: 1 motor for the back, 2 motors for the back and legs, 3 motors adding head adjustment. If you’d prefer an adjustable base without motorization, the manual adjustable base sets the incline mechanically and offers a more affordable entry point. And if you don’t need to change position, the flat base retains the Adaptive Mesh and its ventilation without adjustability.

Available sizes
The adjustable base is made in widths of 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, and 140 cm, and lengths of 190, 200, 210, and 220 cm. For a double bed, the total width is always achieved with two independent bases: 160 cm is two 80s, 180 cm is two 90s, and 200 cm is two 100s. So an adjustable bed of 90×190 or 90×200 covers the most common single configuration, while for doubles each person keeps their own adjustability and firmness. The maximum load allowed is 140 kg per surface.
Remote control and saved positions
The motors run smoothly and quietly, designed so you can change position without disturbing the calm of the bedroom or waking whoever’s sleeping next to you. The base stores up to three saved positions that you can recall with a single press of the remote: reading, sleeping, and zero-gravity, without having to look for them every night.
