Designed by Claudia Köhler and Irmy Wilms, the Essential is much more than a designer bed: it is the world’s first fully recyclable mattress. Its aluminium construction allows easy disassembly and near-total reuse of its components. A timeless design that cares for your sleep and the planet.
Frame design
Powder-coated aluminium frame in the colour of your choice. The tapered legs subtly lift the bed, giving it a floating, light look that suits any interior style.
Headboard design
Hand-upholstered headboard, available lacquered or padded. It fits the frame perfectly and offers soft, ergonomic support for resting and reading.
Base design
Compatible with all Auping bases and mattresses. Available with an adjustable electric base option to personalise your ideal sleeping position.
